The story

Motor-Classic provides full-service vehicle restoration for prominent car collectors, famous car brands, and car museums worldwide. Their expertise lies in the restoration of iconic classic cars and historically significant vehicles from all over the world. 

  

When it comes to the restoration of classic Benz, Daimler, and Mercedes-Benz vehicles, Motor-Classic is the top choice. They specialize in technical masterpieces and automotive icons such as the 300 SL Mercedes-Benz Roadster and Coupe, the 600 Pullman models, the "Pagoda" SL series, and the W111 series. Although they specialize in rare Mercedes-Benz models, they have experience with other icons such as sports cars from the 1950s and 1960s, and pre-World War II cars such as Auburn, Lagonda, Cord, Duesenberg, Packard, Cadillac, Lincoln, and Bentley. 

  

We all cherish the cars of the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s from leading Italian car manufacturers and legendary Italian car designers such as Frua, Vignale, Bertone, Pininfarina, or Zagato. 

The details

The iconic figure of the company is the founder and owner himself. His precision, professionalism, and pursuit of perfection gave birth to this globally unique restorer brand. These core values were not reflected in the company’s branding, which used more average iconography and typography. Through a collaborative design communication methodology, we integrated this personal conviction into the new brand identity, and the owner’s signature became the basic iconography of the logo.

The uniqueness of the design lies in the spontaneous appearance of the MC symbol in the signature, allowing us to refine it and establish a brand that embodies the owner’s personal touch. Brand design, logo, brand messaging, offline and online communication tasks, and stand design were all part of the project. The brand identity was shortlisted in the small branding category at the 2022 Hungarian RGB Creative Design Award.
