The story

Walter Streitmann and Zsolt Mátrabérci were not satisfied with the nasal aspirators available on the market, so they created Nosiboo with the help of ENT specialists, electronics and mechanical development companies and our company, which has already achieved many successes in the field of design.

“As a father, I do everything I can to ensure that my son gets as few antibiotics or medicated nasal sprays as possible. The multiple international success of the device confirms that the right way is prevention, not medication,” says Zsolt.

The details

Doctors have taken care during development to ensure that the product meets all health requirements. Nosiboo’s suction power is optimally adjustable from infancy to toddlerhood, with a maximum at the strongest value allowed by health regulations. And the patented Colibri head is not only hygienic to clean, but also BPA-free and its flexible design does not cause nasal mucous membrane irritation.

In addition to doctors, designers were also key to the project, as they tried to bring the cute teddy bear shape closer to children’s hearts. Today, these special technical solutions and the design are protected by international patents and medical device certification.

The team’s efforts have paid off, with the brand taking home the Red Dot Award, a design “Oscar” in 2015 and the prestigious German Design Award in 2016. “In the case of the German Design Award, in addition to good design, the jury rewarded the overall quality of the product, innovation and functionality. “This award is very important because it shows parents that they can trust their child’s health to Nosiboo,” said Walter. We can be proud, because thanks to Nosiboo, a Hungarian brand won the award, where both production and development are done in Hungary, it is not a contract manufacturing for a foreign company.
