During our collaboration with DVICED, we worked to define the formal and functional foundations that would allow AERON’s three distinct functions to come together in one cohesive product. The result is a compact mobile gaming accessory whose design, usability, and technological solutions reflect DVICED’s innovative approach.
Our goal was to create a mobile gaming accessory for DVICED that combines a stable grip, wireless charging, and active cooling within a single compact form. Throughout the design of AERON, we aimed to ensure that its technological complexity would not appear as a compromise, but rather as a defining design value of the product. By bringing together form, ergonomics, and functionality, we created a device that integrates naturally into the mobile gaming environment.
During the industrial design process, we explored different proportions, surfaces, detailing solutions, and construction approaches in order to find the right balance between technical performance and comfortable usability. A key consideration was to ensure that AERON provides a stable and ergonomic grip even during longer gaming sessions, while seamlessly integrating the technological components required for cooling and charging into its compact design.
When defining the product’s visual character, our aim was to create a clean, confident, and technology-driven design language. We developed details and surface solutions that communicate both high performance and the world of gaming, while avoiding an overly aggressive or purely decorative appearance. As a result, AERON gained a distinctive and recognizable product identity within the DVICED brand.
Every element of the design process was shaped by the goal of making AERON more than simply a combination of three separate functions, but a unified product experience. Through the harmony of ergonomics, technological solutions, and formal detailing, we created a compact mobile gaming device that reflects DVICED’s innovative approach both functionally and visually.
